Chartock Video – WMS history

Roselle Chartock who had recently finished her book about Windsor (see Publications), came to the Lenox Library in October of 2014 to read selections from the book, explain why she came to write the book as she was never a student, and discuss why Windsor Mountain School still mattered. Roselle is a long time resident of the Berkshires as well as an educator in mostly public schools, so it is through this prism, steeped in local Lenox history, personal connection to the town along with those of former WMS students and teachers that she looks at the Bondy experiment to assess the legacy of Max, Gertrud and Heinz. The video is about 40 minutes (click here) to watch.
