Stephan Rozental ’55

I (R. Chartock) just wanted to let the Windsor Mountain Community know about the death of Steve Ross (Stephan Rozental, ‘55). He was a survivor of the Holocaust who was welcomed by the Bondys to WMS, along with several other refugee orphans. He was a social worker and the founder of the New England Holocaust Memorial in Boston. I had the pleasure of interviewing him in 2011 for my book about the history of WMS. He, like so many others, told me, “Windsor Mountain saved my life.”
